Ring of Honor is an independent wrestling promotion based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, and is one of the bigger independent wrestling companies in existence. Ring of Honor is different to other bigger promotions in that it tries to present pro-wrestling as more of a sport, and as such tends to have longer and more athletic matches, which also seem more 'real'. That can also be said about the backstage and interview segments, in that they go in a more realistic direction than that of WWE, for example.
